Arrest Made In Friday's Greenville Co. Homicide

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

Deputies in Greenville County say they've arrested a man in connection with a homicide that happened last week.

Officials say a tip led investigators to Brandon D Andre' Turner, 20, who is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Turner was found at the hospital recovering from an unrelated incident.

He remains in the hospital, and a temporary bond has been issued until he is released.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide after a body was found Friday morning.

Deputies were called to a suspicious death on McGarity Street and Stafford Drive.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found a 44-year-old Kevin Howard Porter dead.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office says Porter died of a gunshot wound to the head.

If anyone has any information, they can call CrimeStoppers at 23-CRIME.
