Five people were arrested after a meth bust in Laurens County on Wednesday.

According to officials with the Laurens County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to 3291 Warrior Creek Church Road to assist Laurens City Police officers. During a search of the residence, officers found illegal narcotics, including meth and marijuana.

Deputies arrested Roy Gaddy Jr., 39, of Laurens, Farrah Murphy, 19, of Clinton; Ashley Ann Smith, 25, of Gray Court; Michael Anthony Sparks Jr., 21, of Laurens, and Michelle Taylor, 33, of Gray Court. All five were charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of meth.

All five were taken to the Johnson Detention center where they await a bond hearing.
