Apartment Fire Forces Residents Out In Cherokee Co.

Residents at an apartment building in Cherokee County were forced out by smoke and flames Friday.

Investigators are trying to find out what sparked a basement fire that evacuated Magnolia Ridge Apartments on Goldmine Springs Road in Gaffney.

Extra crews were called to help put out the flames.

No injuries were reported.  The investigation continues.
