Community Shred Event Planned for Spartanburg

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -

The Spartanburg Public Safety Department is teaming up with Shred Away to give Upstate residents a chance to shred their documents for free.

They're hosting a community shred event on Thursday, April 11th from 8:30 a.m. to noon. It will take place in the lower level parking lot of the Spartanburg Fire Division at 151 South Spring Street in Spartanburg.

Each person can bring up to three boxes of paper materials to be shredded on site. The event is free and open to the public.
