Newborn In DSS Care After Being Dropped Off At Anderson Hospital

Posted: Updated:

The state is caring for an infant who was abandoned at a local hospital.

Police say the 2-day-old baby was left at AnMed in Anderson Monday.

Daniel's Law in South Carolina gives parents the option to leave children younger than 30-days-old at a safe haven.

Those spots include a police station, hospital, or fire department.
