Greenville Police Investigate Armed Robbery Friday

GREENVILLE, S.C. -

Greenville Police are investigating a robbery that briefly put two schools in the area on partial lockdown Friday.

Police tell us a Shell station at 1630 East North Street was robbed around 9:30 a.m.

The robber got away with cash, but no one was injured.

Greenville Police advised Greenville Middle Academy and East North Street Academy to go into partial lockdown because of the armed robbery in the area. 

Those schools came off lockdown at 10:10 a.m.

The Greenville County School District reports the lockdown ended after suspect was apprehended, but there's been no confirmation from police.
