BELTON, S.C. -

Prepare for your taste buds to be tempted. The SC State Chili Cook-Off will be held in Belton on Saturday.

The event will host World Champion chili cooks from all over South Carolina. Some are event coming in from as far away as New York, Florida, Louisiana and Ohio.

Patrons can taste the different dishes starting at 11 a.m. Anyone wanting to take part in the tastings will have to pay $5 for a bracelet. The cost includes 8 samples and a spoon.

Food may be the featured part of the event, but it's only part of what will be available. There will be inflatables for the kids, a world-renowned ice carver, museum tours, vendors, and an art showcase.

All the money raised at the Chili Cook-Off will go to a good cause. It serves as a fundraiser for the Belton Area Museum Association, the Belton Center for the Arts, the Belton Interfaith Ministerial Association, and the Shalom House.

Saturday's event will run from 9 a.m. To 4 p.m.
