1 Dead Following Single Vehicle Crash In Laurens Co.

LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. -

Authorities say one person is dead following a single vehicle crash in Laurens County Wednesday morning.

The Laurens County Coroner says a truck driven by 20-year-old Kristin Renee May, of Gray Court, went off the road and hit a tree.  Investigators say the vehicle was traveling north on Trinity Church Road when it happened around 9:30 a.m.

May died of blunt force trauma to the neck and head.

She was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
