GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

The Southern Connector in Greenville County will close for several days starting Sunday to film a TV series.

Connector officials confirm the nearly 18 mile toll road will close at 10:00 pm. Sunday until 10:00 p.m. April 24 to film a segment for the TV series Banshee

The series is shown on the Cinemax pay channel.

We're told signs alerting drivers to the closing have been posted well ahead of the closing.

All entrances to the Southern Connector will barricaded and manned with law enforcement.

The most recent figures from March show between 10,000 and nearly 14,000 vehicles a day use the connector between Sunday and Wednesday.

Banshee is described as a series about an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pennsylvania.

He continues his criminal activities while being hunted by "the shadowy gangsters he betrayed years earlier."
