Deputies investigate Theft/Arson In Oconee County

Posted: Updated:
OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. -

Deputies need your help to solve a recent arson and theft near Seneca.

Investigators say Wednesday morning around 6:30, someone set a motorhome on fire in the 100 block of Ashley Lane. That's near the Reedy Fork Baptist Church.

Firefighters put out the fire, but not before two-thirds of the contents were destroyed. Firefighters determined someone poured oil all over the interior of the motorhome, then set the bedding area on fire.

Investigators say three TV's and a stereo system were ripped out of the motorhome, before it was torched. The value is estimated at $1,400.

If you have any information on this case, please call Crimestoppers at 638.STOP or 1.888.CRIME.SC.
