A.L. Industries Facility Bringing 80 Jobs To Spartanburg Co.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -
A company that produces automotive filters will open a manufacturing plant in Spartanburg County and create 80 new jobs.

A.L. Solutions Inc. has has begun hiring for the new positions with plans to open the A.L. Industries Inc. facility in May.

The company is planning a $3.6 million investment. The new facility will produce aftermarket automotive filters and heavy-duty filters for the truck market.

Both A.L. Solutions and A.L. Industries are part of the A.L. Group, which is headquartered in Israel.

According to the Oconee County Coroner's Office, the 911 communications center received a report of a house fire on North Andover Drive in Walhalla Tuesday night around 9:30. Multiple fire agencies responded to the fire. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found an unresponsive man, 49-year-old Michael Joseph Marcello, lying on a bedroom floor in the home.
