LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. -

Jostens in Laurens County is moving their business to Mexico and cutting about 60 positions. It should happen by the end of July.

Company leaders wrote in a press release: The evolving demands of our market and industry compel us to make changes in the way we do business. This decision was made to improve our customers' experience and realize efficiencies. By transitioning the majority of the remaining manufacturing, Jostens will have all related product in one location for manufacturing entire orders at one time.

All eligible employees will get a severance package and outplacement services.

Jostens will keep a staff of about 130 positions in Laurens to help with their manufacturing, distribution and support functions.

Jostens is based in Minneapolis. The company makes things like school year books, class rings, graduation products and other products for athletic champions and their fans.
