ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. -

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery at a local convenience store.

Deputies were called to the Sun City Food Store at 3401 South Murray Avenue around 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Police reports say an employee reported the store being robbed by a black male.

He was able to get away with an unknown amount of cash. Officials say a couple in the parking lot last saw the alleged robber on a moped behind the store. However, deputies were unable to locate him.
