GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

An Upstate middle school student may be expelled, after he was caught with marijuana in class.

A spokesman for Greenville County Schools says the 8th grade boy brought the drugs to Blue Ridge Middle School Thursday and shared them with three other students. One of those students reported it to a teacher, who then informed the administration.

School officials called law enforcement. All students are expected to be charged by the Greenville County Sheriff's Department.

They have also been suspended, pending a recommendation for expulsion.
