Greenville Flexes Muscle In Downing BHP

Greenville needed two wins at BHP Friday night to advance in the 3A upper state playoffs and after gaining a 5-1 win in the opener the Red Raiders unleashed an offensive barrage in the nightcap with a 17-0 victory.

Eastside and Travelers Rest also moved on in 3A while Wren was eliminated by A.C. Flora in two games.

In 3A softball, Union Co. and Chapman were winners while B. Springs opened the 4A upper state finals with a 3-1 win over J.L. Mann.
