The 7th Annual Motorcycle Awareness Alliance Look Twice Poker Run was held Saturday morning in Anderson County to help raise awareness for motorcycle safety. The 7th Annual Motorcycle Awareness Alliance Look Twice Poker Run was held Saturday morning in Anderson County to help raise awareness for motorcycle safety.

About 3,000-4,000 riders were expected to attend the Look Twice Save A Life motorcycle run at the VFW on Highway 29, The event was to held to promote awareness after a large number of deadly and serious accidents involving motorcycles.

"The life you save might be mine, it might be yours, it could be your mother, it could be my mother, it could be any family member or anything," said Rick "Ponytail" Allison, President of the Motorcycle Awareness Alliance. "Just look twice and save a life."

The event is the second-largest each year for the organization. Only a Christmas Toy Drive draws a larger crowd.
