SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -

A man was injured Tuesday morning, following an argument with his wife over who should take out the trash.

Spartanburg County Sheriff's Deputies responded to 650 Fosters Grove Road around 2:30 a.m. The woman at the home told deputies she asked her husband to take out the trash and tossed the bag at him. However, he wasn't able to catch the bag and it hit him in the head.

That left the man with a small laceration above his left eye. Police reports state the injury was the result of an accident, and no charges were filed. A medical team did respond to the scene and take the man to Spartanburg Regional for treatment.
