Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a man who they say sexually assaulted and robbed a woman while armed with a shotgun.

Joshua Brent Cash, 29, is charged with armed robbery, criminal sexual conduct 3rd degree and unlawful possession of a sawed-off shotgun.

Deputies arrested Cash after he walked out of a home on Arlington Road in Greer Tuesday evening after being called there for a disturbance according to the incident report.

The victim was in a van behind the home with three children and another adult when they arrived.

The woman says she was forced by Cash - who is the father of one of her children - to have sex with her before he pointed a shotgun at her and demanded money.

The SCSO incident report shows deputies demanded Cash come out of the home which he did unarmed. He was arrested and later took deputies inside where they found a sawed off shotgun hidden under a mattress.

The victim was bleeding according to deputies and was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Cash was in the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office Detention Center Wednesday morning under a $65,000 bond.
