B. Springs, Chesnee Moves On To State Finals On The Diamond

Boiling Springs softball team won the 4A upper state championship Friday night after being denied the previous three years.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated Byrnes, 10-0, in five innings.

In 2A baseball, Chesnee wrapped-up the upper state crown with a 6-0 triumph against visiting Chesterfield.

Mann won a shootout victory at Riverside in 4A girls soccer while Greenville shutout Woodruff on the road in 3A.
