Investigators with the Henderson County Sheriff's Office are seeking information about a woman who has been missing for several days.

Major Frank Stout of the sheriff's office said that deputies are working to locate 18-year-old Katelyn Murray after she left her residence during the night on May 7. According to Stout, Murray has not had any contact with her family and they are concerned about her well being since she is under a doctor's care and did not take any of her prescription medications with her.

Murray is a white female who is approximately 5'5" and weighs 180 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. She does not have a vehicle or a driver's license and only has a passport for identification purposes.

If anyone has any information on Murray's whereabouts they are asked to contact the Henderson County Sheriff's Office at (828) 697-4911 or Henderson County 911. Stout said that Murray has been entered into the NCIC database.
