The Greenville  County Coroner has identified the man who was found dead at the Richardson Street Parking Garage Sunday afternoon.

Jonathan Campbell Hamilton, 34, of Greenville was pronounced dead at 5:32 p.m. Sunday.

Deputy Coroner Barry Wright says Hamilton died of blunt force trauma to the head. An autopsy is underway Monday morning.

The deputy coroner says investigators have reason to believe Hamilton jumped.

The Greenville Police Department and Greenville County Coroner's Office are conducting a death investigation after a man's body was found on Richardson Street.

Corporal Jason Rampey of the Greenville Police Department said that the body of a deceased man was found lying in the street outside the Richardson Street Parking Garage.

Currently they are investigating whether the man fell from the garage and are reviewing surveillance video from the garage to determine the circumstances of how the man died.

Richardson Street north of Washington Street reopened early Monday morning.
