Wade's Serves Up Special Mother's Day Meal In Spartanburg

Posted: Updated:

Sunday, many restaurants in the Upstate were busy, serving special meals for mom.

One of those was Wade's on North Pine Street in Spartanburg. People were lined up out the door for the special day.

7 On Your Side asked some moms, what the day means to them.

"There's nothing like having a little child that you get to help raise and that your responsible for. The joy you get from doing that is amazing," said Brandy Dickson.

Sherry Williams says she enjoys being a mother on Mother's Day, "because you always have someone to tell you 'Happy Mother's Day' and that they love you."

"Having two great kids that love me and I love them," said Susan Simmons.

Gina Naylor said, "it means I get to share sweet memories everyday and help bring up to little kids."

In addition to lots of great food, Wade's featured a balloon artist, who made balloon animals and hats for the kids.

There was also music to entertain the guests.
