SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. -

May 21, 2013 Update at 6:00 a.m.

Charges have been filed in a deadly crash in Simpsonville.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol charged 23- year old- Lawrence Brown III with Felony DUI Involving Death and Bodily Injury.

Troopers say Brown lost control while driving on Lee Vaughn Road at Scuffletown Road Sunday night.

Brown hit another car killing the driver. The victim's name hasn't been released.

May 20, 2013 Update

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wreck in Greenville County.

Troopers say it happened just after 8 pm Sunday on Lee Vaughn Road at Scuffletown Road in Simpsonville. A pickup truck and a car collided.  A man driving the car died.  A juvenile in the car and a driver in the pickup truck were taken to a hospital.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office has not released the victim's name.  A special investigation team will work to determine how the accident happened.
