Goldsboro man faces kidnapping, assault charges

GOLDSBORO, N.C. -

A Goldsboro man has been arrested and charged with first-degree kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon with an intent to kill inflicting serioius injury.

Scott Michael Nielsen, 23, was given $100,000 secured bond.

On May 5, a resident of the Rosewood Community reported being assaulted. The victim was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital, and was treated and released.
