2 killed in Myrtle Beach biker crash, 7th fatality since Friday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) -

Myrtle Beach Police Captain David Knipes says at 2:23 a.m. Sunday morning, a 2011 Cadillac SUV was traveling westbound on 29th Avenue North onto Grissom Parkway in Myrtle Beach.

A 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling eastbound on 29th Ave. N.

Witnesses say the SUV turned in front of the motorcycle.  The bike hit the passenger side of the SUV and the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were dead on the scene.

Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler said it was a man and a woman from North Carolina on the motorcycle. He said neither were wearing a helmet.

The driver and passenger of the SUV were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
