Deputies arrested a Hendersonville woman who is accused of breaking a family's home on Memorial Day, and stealing jewelry and loose change.

It happened on May 27th in the Edneyville Community.

Henderson County deputies charged Opal Dawn Byrnside with felonious breaking and entering, theft and habitual breaking and entering.

Byrnside was recently released from jail and is on probation from similar crimes in Henderson and Transylvania Counties during 2012. Investigators say in those crimes, Byrnside targeted members of the Hispanic community, thinking they would not report the crime.

Byrnside is in jail under 35,000 bond. She is also awaiting trial on similar charges in Buncombe County.
