Spartanburg, SC -

A flag football game was held in the memory of a former Spartanburg High and Clemson University football standout who was killed in a motorcycle wreck last year.

Friends and former teammates came together to honor Brian Wofford, a former wide receiver with Spartanburg High and Clemson, who died last May. According to the Highway Patrol, Wofford was riding his motorcycle on Reidville Road when he struck a car that had turned in front of him.

The all day event started with a motorcycle ride at Barnett Park and ended as former teammates and friends played a series of flag football games at Spartanburg High School.
