SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -

A Spartanburg County man is accused of making moonshine.

According to a report from the sheriff's office, deputies responded to a home on Allen Bridge Road in Woodruff on Tuesday. Deputies say they received complaints that the homeowner, Harold Brock, was making illegal liquor. Brock told deputies he produced homemade wine and had a liquor still in his outbuilding.

Deputies say they seized the liquor still, 21 bottles of liquor, various jars, two barrels of mash, and one burner cooker. Brock received a ticket for possession of illegal liquor.
