Study Finds More People Using Swamp Rabbit Trail

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

You may bike, walk or run the Swamp Rabbit Trail, but now we're getting a look at its impact on the upstate.

The Greenville County Recreation District released a Year 2 Impact Study Tuesday. It found the trail usage increased to an estimated 403,000 users per year. That's up from 359,000 users in the Year 1 Study.

The study also found businesses that relocated near the Swamp Rabbit reported a 30 percent to 50 percent increase in sales.
