Daniel's Hoover Earns National Gatorade Softball Player Of The Year

Daniel High's Carley Hoover was presented the Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year Tuesday, becoming the first female athlete in South Carolina to win the award.

Hoover went 16-4 with a 0.15 ERA this past season with 338 strikeouts in 138 innings.

She led the Lady Lions to the 3A state championship as well.
