SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -

The state of South Carolina won't set aside money to help cover medical expenses for victims in the Cleveland Park miniature train crash.

7 on Your Side spoke to Sen. Harvey Peeler, R-Gaffney, who said the state budget conference committee killed the measure.

Earlier this month, the families reached a $1.6 million dollar settlement with Spartanburg County.
