Packaging Company To Open New Facility in Spartanburg

COLUMBIA, S.C. -

Lindoerfer + Steiner GmbH, a maker of packaging for automotive suppliers, is establishing a new production facility in Spartanburg County.

The $400,000 investment by the company is expected to generate 32 new jobs over the next five years.

The company will set up its U.S. headquarters and manufacturing operation along with associated national sales and distribution operations in Spartanburg on 111 Corporate Drive.

They produce reusable packaging materials for high value automotive parts for a number of clients, including Porsche, BMW, Daimler and Volkswagen.

The company will make an announcement at a later date about specific hiring plans.
