Deputies have made an arrest in a case involving counterfeit bills in Oconee County.

The sheriff's office says 25-year-old Kayla Marie Bryson paid for items being purchased at the Dollar General in West Union.

Bryson faces forgery charges and has been booked into the Oconee County Detention Center.

Investigators say Bryson knew the bills were counterfeit and witnessed and helped in the printing process.
