SPARTANBURG, S.C. -

There's a possibility for storms every day this week, according to forecasters.

Storm Team 7 Meteorologist Malachi Rodgers says partly cloudy skies and some daytime heating will produce scattered showers and thunderstorms all week long.

"Best chances for storms are in the late afternoon and early evening hours," he adds.

Not everyone can expect to see rain every day, but each day some parts of the Upstate or western North Carolina should pick up some rain and thunder.

Highs in the Upstate are expected to climb to near 90 degrees, and middle 80's in the mountains.

Dozens of people gathered Saturday afternoon to rally against the state's "Stand Your Ground," law, saying it amounts to "legal lynching." The group, Moms Demand Action, said the South Carolina law, first passed in 2006, causes gun violence and is exploited as a defense.
