GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

Greenville County Sheriff's Office are asking for help to identify two suspected shoplifters.

Deputies say one of the suspects used pepper spray on a Walmart employee while getting away.

The thefts happened around 1:30 a.m. June 20 at the Walmart at 1451 Woodruff Road.

Investigators say the women filled several shopping carts with merchandise and got outside the store.

That's when the Walmart employee confronted them, but one of the women sprayed pepper spray. The suspects got away with stereo equipment.

The worker wasn't injured and refused medical treatment.

Investigators ask anyone who may have information regarding this incident or who recognize the two individuals to call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
