Spartanburg Water's General Manager is getting a $15,211 raise this year.

According to our coverage partners at the Herald Journal, two commissions took separate votes to increase her compensation by a combined 10 percent.

Sue Schneider now earns an annual salary of $167,321. Other employees at Spartanburg Water are eligible for raises up to 4 percent.

Here's how Schneider's salary stacks up against others across the Upstate:

Greenville Water's General Manager David Bereskin: $185,000 

Greer Public Works' GM Nick Stegall: $176,320

Easley Public Works' GM David Ledbetter: $180,000
