Fox Attacks Man In Anderson County

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. -

Officials in Anderson County were called to an industrial park where a person was bitten by a fox Friday evening.

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources tells 7 On Your Side it happened on Hurricane Creek Road in Piedmont.

The fox, originally thought to be a coyote, was killed on the scene after biting the victim in the back of the leg.

Authorities say the person is being treated, but the wounds are not serious.
