Burglars stole drugs and laptop computers over the weekend from a doctor's office in Spartanburg, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.
A report states the thieves broke into Carolina Neurology on Floyd Road in Spartanburg sometime between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
The crooks stole drugs from a storage room and "multiple laptops from the exam rooms," according to a copy of the report.
Dr. Carol Kooistra owns the practice and released a statement to say that five laptops were stolen, but that no patient information was contained on the computers.
In the statement, Kooistra wrote, " ... patients of Carolina Neurology should not be concerned about any violation of their privacy."
The sheriff's office is investigating, but no suspects have been identified.
