The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary at doctor's office.

According to a report, an employee at Carolina Neurology noticed the break-in Sunday. She told deputies the drug room had been broken into and laptops were gone from several exam rooms.

7 On Your Side contacted the owner of the practice, Dr. Carol Kooistra who said the five stolen laptops did not contain any patient information.

In the statement, Kooistra wrote, "... patients of Carolina Neurology should not be concerned about any violation of their privacy."
