GREENVILLE, S.C. -

A gas leak caused officials to block off streets in Greenville Monday.

Authorities tell 7 On Your Side a landscaper pulled a stump rupturing a 3/4-inch gas line around 11:45 a.m. at 105 Spring Street.

The gas has been shut off.  Crews are now working to make repairs to the damaged line.  

Spring Street between Coffee and East North Street were closed until the line was fixed.
