The suspect is described as a male wearing a mask, multi-colored nylon jacket, jeans and gloves.  Deputies think he got away in a black, late 1990s Chevrolet Tahoe. Deputies in Buncombe County are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a convenience store early Tuesday morning.

It happened at the Fastbreak II on Old Leicester Highway in the Leicester community around 8 a.m.

A man came in armed with a handgun and made away with the cash from the store, according to investigators.

During the robbery, the clerk threw a pot of coffee on the suspect.  Authorities say the man may have suffered burns that he is trying to conceal.

He is described as a male wearing a mask, multi-colored nylon jacket, jeans and gloves.  Deputies think he got away in a black, late 1990s Chevrolet Tahoe.
