COLUMBIA, S.C. -

Brooke Mosteller was crowned Miss South Carolina 2013 Saturday night at Township Auditorium in Columbia.

The 23 year old Mosteller was Miss Mount Pleasant, a swimsuit preliminary winner and attends the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Mosteller will compete in the Miss America Pageant in September 2013 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Runners-up for the title of Miss South Carolina are:

First runner up: Miss Greenville County, Lindley Mayer

Second runner up: Miss Spartanburg, Clarka Wickliffe

Third runner up: Miss Hilton Head Island, Lauren Cabaniss

Fourth runner up: Miss Greater Greer, Lanie Hudson

Brook Sill was crowned Miss South Carolina Teen 2013.

The 16 year old from Duncan was Miss Mauldin Teen and attends South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts.

Sill won an evening wear and onstage question preliminary.

Sill will compete in Miss America's Outstanding Teen in August 2013 in Orlando.

Runners-up for the title of Miss South Carolina Teen are:

First runner up: Miss Lake Keowee Teen, Brooklyn Garrett

Second runner up: Miss Hilton Head Island Teen, Julia Harrison Wofford

Third runner up: Miss Lyman Teen, Hope Harvard

Fourth runner up: Miss Anderson County Teen, Amanda Compton

     The Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was hit and killed while trying to cross Wade Hampton Boulevard Tuesday night.It happened at 9:14 near Rushmore Drive in Greenville County. Troopers say a 17-year-old driver was traveling north when the person was attempting to cross and walked in front of the SUV.Investigators tell 7 on Your Side the victim died at the scene.SCHP says no charges will be filed in the case.
