The suspect charged in a shooting in Anderson earlier this week turned himself in Thursday.

Police say Deangelo Rashad Davis, 21, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime after the shooting on Dickens Avenue Monday.

Anderson Police have identified a suspect and are searching for that man following a shooting.

Officers are trying to find Deangelo Rashad Davis, 21, after a shooting Monday afternoon on Dickens Avenue.

He's been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime according to warrants.

Anderson Police officers went to the scene of the shooting at 3:40 p.m. Monday where witnesses say two men were in a fight in front of a home when a single shot was fired.

The victim was able to get to a neighbor who took him to a hospital for treatment. The man suffered non-life threatening injuries according to our coverage partners at The Independent-Mail. 

Davis is described as a black man, 6'3" and weighs 185 pounds.
