GREENVILLE, S.C. -

The sun finally came out from behind the clouds Tuesday.

“Oh, I am loving it,” says April Garner of York.  “The kids have been cooped up inside for so long."

Forecasters at the National Weather Service report 16 days of consecutive rain measured at GSP Airport.

The recent weather has put a damper on Cynthia Windsor’s sno-cone stand.

“We leave when there is a thunderstorm, so it has affected us,” Windsor said.

But that didn't happen Tuesday.  Instead the bright sun had Windsor shaving ice faster than it could melt.

“I think it is hot and humid,” says Lee Foote of Anderson, “and we could use some more rain.”

While it may be hard to believe especially considering the ground hasn't even had a chance to dry out, some folks admit they miss the rain.

Forecasters say rest assured, it will return.
