Woman Killed In Pickens County Motorcycle Crash

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. -

The Pickens County Coroner's Office identified a woman killed in a motorcycle crash as Sylvia Crain, 30, of Six Mile. The South Carolina Highway Patrol said Crain was a passenger on a motorcycle Thursday night. 

The driver was headed south on Highway 133 about 6:30 p.m. Thursday when the motorcycle lost control in the curve at Shady Grove Road and hit a pickup truck.  The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.  Crain was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.  Troopers are still investigating the wreck.
