Big League World Series Comes To Pickens County

EASLEY, S.C. -

The Big League World Series has arrived in the Upstate. 

11 teams of boys ranging in ages from 15 to 18 are competing to be the Big League champions.

The tournament takes place at the J.B. Owens Sport Complex in Easley.

Five of the teams have flown in from various countries including Mexico, Canada, Venezuela, and Germany.

The other six teams are from across the United States.

Tonight the tournament will also feature a home run derby and a free country concert by artist Casey James.

The tournament is expected to return around $500,000 into the local economy.

ESPN will provide live coverage of the championship game next Wednesday.
