The Spartanburg Sheriff's Office reports that a truck ran a stop sign on Howard St. and out of it's lane of traffic Sunday and into a parking lot.
The deputy reported she had to quickly move the patrol car out of the truck's path.
The report says the female passenger, Moneka Robinson got out of the truck and exchanged words with the driver.
The deputy found out the male driver, Garland Cunningham and Robinson were in a relationship for a number of years and they were arguing over a broken tag and the movement of furniture.
The driver told the deputy that Robinson had hit him in the head after he called her a name and he lost control of the truck as he was trying to protect himself.
Robinson admitted to hitting Cunningham to the deputy and she was arrested for Criminal Domestic Violence 1st offense.
