JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) -

Around 4:30 Sunday morning, Johnson City Police arrested 18-year-old Marcus Wright, and charged him with two counts of auto burglary.

After responding to a 911 call, officers found that Wright had been chased down and subdued by three men after they witnessed Wright breaking into, and stealing property from one of their vehicles.

Officers took Wright into custody, and found several pieces of property inside a backpack that he had been carrying. Officers were able to locate at least one other victim, and charge Wright. Several pieces of property are still unaccounted for, and are believed to have been stolen from the same area.

Wright is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond. His arraignment is set for Monday.
