RALEIGH, N.C. -

Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers Inc. (TROSA) held a large yard sale at the North Carolina State fairgrounds this past weekend.

TROSA had trailers full of home and office furniture as well as kitchen-ware, clothes and toys. The organization's goal is to help people who have substance abuse problems and help them turn around their lives.

"That's what the program is about is really trying to reintroduce residents back into the real world and interacting with people and trying to make that change which is something very difficult but this is a great opportunity for them to be involved," says Michelle Lally with TROSA.

All proceeds from the weekend yard sale will go directly to support the men and women recovering from substance abuse at TROSA.
