You may see an unusual amount of police activity Tuesday in one part of Anderson, but there’s no need to be alarmed.

Officers are taking part in active shooter training scenarios around McCant’s Middle School on Marchbanks Avenue.

The exercise started around 9:30 a.m. Police will also be training on high risk traffic stops.
